Q4 Core and Senior Management Seminar Programmes

First of all, thank you for all your feedback. We pride ourselves on finding the speakers with the most relevant content for you and to see the scores consistently rating over 4 out of a maximum of 5 sets us the perfect challenge to keep it there!

As we take a short break over the summer, I thought it would be useful to summarise what’s coming up in the final quarter of the year.

As you know, we are passionate about re-building the account management function and have two more seminars focussed in this area.

The first is aimed at senior management and focuses on organisational structures and behaviours, but most importantly how it complements and works with other agency roles. Joanna Howes has been helping agencies to operationalise significant changes in Project Management and Client Service teams and brings a wealth of insight and some firm opinions to her session.

For our Account Directors, we’ll be looking to explore what lies at the heart of a good entrepreneur with Stephen Chandler: one of the 5 attributes we have identified as part of rebuilding the role.

Then, to finish off the 2019 season, we have two AAR hosted sessions pulling together what we’ve been hearing, seeing and researching to help with plans for 2020.

First up, my colleague Vicky Gillan and I have created a seminar that focuses on the key building blocks of developing a retention strategy. Growth is a part of that, but we have some very specific feedback from clients that the focus seems to be on your growth and not theirs. So, we have some valuable pointers to share.

And last, but by no means least, the font of all knowledge on what makes a good pitch is Martin Jones. As well as adding to his huge reservoir of knowledge with themes and anecdotes from 2019, he’ll provide the vital insight and ideas to answer all your questions.

Please remember that your AAR subscription entitles you to one place at each of the seminars, but we are happy to keep a reserve list if the content is very current in your agency, so it always helps to plan ahead and think of who would benefit the most from each seminar and pencil that in their diaries now.
