Emma joined AAR in 2023 as Business Manager, bringing experience from more than a decade in investment banking recruitment before retraining as a primary school teacher. Her varied career has given her a unique blend of commercial awareness, people skills and organisational expertise, which she brings to every project.
Emma supports AAR’s Relationship Management and Upskill programmes, working closely with Vicky Gillan to help marketing teams and agency partners build stronger, more effective ways of working. She is responsible for project management, stakeholder coordination and delivery support, ensuring programmes run smoothly and objectives stay on track.
She also leads the organisation of AAR Exchange, AAR’s community and twice-yearly event for senior marketers and marketing-focused NEDs. Bringing together board-level perspectives and the realities of modern marketing, AAR Exchange creates opportunities for open discussion, fresh thinking and meaningful connections.
Across AAR, Emma is known for her ability to bring people together, keep projects moving and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Whether coordinating events, managing stakeholders or supporting client programmes, she combines attention to detail with a practical, collaborative approach.
