AAR Core Level Seminar Programme - Lessons in Leadership with Vonnie Alexander

Introduction

We've seen some worrying trends that led us to believe that there is an increasingly large leadership gap - and this is backed up by research:

• Our working patterns have changed which means that rising stars, aspiring leaders, are less able to learn by osmosis from current ones
• We are seeing people being promoted faster than ever
• The need for new capabilities and skillsets continues to grow
• And there is a drain on upward talent as more senior leaders leave the industry.

In response to this, AAR embarked on a quest to help fill that gap by developing new and existing leaders. We launched No Bullsh*t Leadership, an online self-paced learning course based on Chris Hirst’s best-selling book by the same.

Now, a year on, we are bringing some of the highlights of that course to you, our subscribing agencies, through our seminar programme so that you can get a flavour of what’s there.

We'll dispel some of the myths that surround leadership, share some insights, and some practical tools and tips to help you on your leadership journeys.

Seminar Overview

A highly interactive 2.5 hours where we will skip through several leadership lessons from the course to help you grow as leaders in your agencies. You will leave with practical tools and tips that you can use immediately.

Who should attend?

By our definition, a leader is anyone who has people they are responsible for. That’s pretty much all of us.

About the presenter

Vonnie Alexander has not only led agencies herself, but she is the co-host of No Bullsh*t Leadership, and she is bringing you some edited highlights of the course in this 2.5-hour seminar. She also leads the CRM practice within AAR and knows what it is to become and be a leader in agency, large and small, networked, and independent.

Running this session online
