We caught the walking bug last year.  Inspired by Robin Charney, our digital consultancy lead,  we split AAR into three competitive teams, armed ourselves with a step counter each,  and collectively walked 15 million steps in 10 weeks.  We got fitter and we raised some money for charity in the process.

This year we’re doing it all again, but bigger and better this time, making the challenge part of our 40th anniversary celebrations and inviting teams for agencies to join us in the big walk!

It all kicks off on Monday, 30 March and more than 40 agency teams have signed up to compete to be the fittest agency in the industry.  Each team of four will be walking a minimum of 10,000 steps (roughly 5 miles) every day for 10 weeks until the challenge ends on Monday, 8 June.

Everyone will be able to monitor the teams’ progress on the Fit@40 leaderboard which you’ll find at fitat40.aargroup.co.uk   We’ll be tweeting regular updates on @aargroup – look out for the #fit@40 hashtag.

The winning team will be announced and prizes awarded at the Fit@40 celebration drinks on 9 June.
